Wizards, Heists And Other Ways To Steal A Spellbook : A Cosy Bookish Fantasy Adventure Meg Pennerson
An enchanting cozy heist adventure that will make you believe in fate. Complete with dragons. And cats. And dragon-cats. Katherine and Imogene didn't mean to rewrite destiny-honestly. When Katherine Hornsboggle and Imogene Dodge Chrysler are hired to steal a book- allegedly magical and fiercely guarded-it sounds simple enough. What could possibly go wrong? Quite a lot, it turns out. The Book of Appellations isn't just any tome; it's a sacred artifact that determines each person's destiny from the moment they name themselves in a magical ceremony. If the duo can steal it, their client believes he can change his name-and his fate. But when a powerful magical crime network catches wind of the heist, Katherine and Imogene find themselves dodging danger across the Parched Plain, their enchanted map barely keeping them ahead. Desperate for help, Katherine and Imogene dive into the Forbidden Woods to reconnect with a soft-hearted wizard friend. Along with his help, a people-pleasing y.
